how to measure

Before your start taking your measurements, wear underwear, which you intend to wear under the selected cloth piece, as modern tights can remove from 1 to 3 cm in volume, and bras, on the contrary – add volume.Stand with your back straight in front of a full-length mirror, do not slouch, do not bend the leg at the knee. Having good posture is the key to taking accurate measurements.

1

Measuring Your Chest

Wrap a soft tape measure around your bust. Take it around your back, across your shoulder blades and under your arms. It should wrap around the fullest part of your bust. The tape should be straight and parallel with the floor. Bring the ends together in the center front. Place your thumb beneath the tape measure and keep yourself from pulling too tight, as this could give you an incorrect measurement.

2

Measuring Your Waist

Strip down to your underwear, make sure your underwear isn’t cinching your waist. Natural waist is the narrowest part of your torso, generally located between your rib cage and belly button. Wrap the tape measure around your natural waist. Keep it parallel to the floor. Do not hold your breath or suck your stomach in. Hold your body erect in a comfortable standing position to get an accurate measurement. Be sure you don’t draw it too tight.

3

Measuring Your Hips

Wrap the tape measure around the fullest part of your hips and buttocks. This is usually located 7 to 9 inches (18 to 22 cm) below your natural waist. Keep the tape measure parallel to the floor. Bring the tape measure together in the center front. Be sure to prevent yourself from drawing it too tightly. If there is a protruding belly, then this should also be taken into account.

Dress Specific Size Tables

Each fabric has its extensibility, so we made a separate table with the boundary parameters (maximum and minimum) for each type of product to help you understand whether a particular size will fit you.

Please note! If at least one of your body measurements doesn’t fit within the boundary values given in this table, then you will not be able to wear this item. Fabric doesn’t stretch more than the values given in the table and you may damage the product, or will have problems and discomfort when worn.

Convertible Dresses Min – Max Values

In this type of dresses only two important parameters: the waist and hips. The upper part of the dress is the two free strips of cloth that you need to wrap around your body by yourself. However, owners of a large bust, be aware that there is no fixation for the bust and you should care about it beforehand. The skirt is made of a stretchy, but dense fabric, so the maximum allowed run-up in measurements is 2.5 centimeters.
